In addition to the weekly seminar dates, there is a weekend seminar each semester, where the participants of all three years of study of the focus curriculum devote themselves to a special area that is examined and processed from the perspective of various disciplines. The topics of the weekend seminars are chosen so that all participants start with the same level of knowledge if possible.

These weekends thrive on the interaction between lecturers and participants. Invited lecturers give an overview of their topic in short presentations, which is then deepened by the participants in the form of previously prepared presentations. The interdisciplinary design of the individual program items results in a comprehensive overall picture of the selected topic.
