At the beginning of the winter semester you can apply to participate in the oncology focus curriculum. After we have received your application, it will be passed on to a selection committee in which, in addition to university lecturers and doctors, among others Current participants in the main focus as student representatives also decide on their application.

Specialized curriculum oncology (CSO) - WS 2020/2021
The treatment of patients with malignant tumors will be one of the greatest challenges of the near future and must be carried out in the interdisciplinary context of all specialist disciplines involved.
Because of this outstanding importance, we want to offer a limited number of medical students the opportunity to train specifically in the field of oncology.
Interdisciplinarity and a comprehensive understanding of oncological diseases must be learned and practiced. Embedded in the Marburg Comprehensive Cancer Center, there is the possibility of applying for the focus curriculum oncology for winter semester 2020/2021.

Who is the focus curriculum oncology aimed at?
The oncology focus curriculum is aimed at students of human medicine who have successfully passed the first section of the medical examination and who have an above-average interest in oncological issues, above-average commitment and motivation as well as the desire for excellent additional qualifications.

Schedule ?
The focus curriculum oncology takes place during the course over 6 semesters with 2 SWS and one weekend seminar per semester.
