General consultation hours for neurosurgery
Patients with suspected intracranial processes such as brain tumors, intracranial vascular malformations and cerebral haemorrhages, skull injuries, malformations in the brain or hydrocephalus (hydrocephalus) are advised on how to proceed. Using the latest examination techniques, these processes are clarified in order to determine the time of surgical treatment or the initiation of other treatment measures.

Special consultation hour neurosurgery
In the neuro-oncological consultation hours, in addition to the normal outpatient appointments, patients with brain tumors, especially gliomas, are examined and treated during the general consultation hours. These consultation hours also serve to care for these patients in the long term and to ensure further treatment in coordination with the clinics for neurology and radiation therapy.

Interdisciplinary neuro-oncological consultation (neurology / hemato-oncology)
Patients with brain tumors, metastases of systemic tumors in the nervous system and paraneoplastic syndromes are cared for in the interdisciplinary neuro-oncological consultation. The treatment takes place after a referral from the resident colleague or as part of the consultation service within the clinic. It includes the initial diagnostic clarification, coordination of therapy planning with all other specialist areas involved, implementation and accompaniment of chemotherapy, treatment of tumor involvement of the nerve water and follow-up care after the end of the treatments.
